Fuel Cable Assembly

Hi! Has anyone had any experience replacing the fuel cable on a 2008 runner? I got the cable for 40 bucks but the dealership wants $220 to install it. I find that a little riduclous for a cable that stretched less than an inch!

Yeah... but you're gonna have to chase the cable from where it clips to the fuel door all the way to under the dash. Which means panels will have to come off, some carpeting moved, fishing around for it, putting it in, and finally buttoning it all up.

Book Time looks to be in the neighborhood of 1.0-1.5hrs. Depending on what other additional fees the dealer is charging, $220 sounds about right for the work. (Not saying its cheap, but average for what a dealer would charge.)
