Fuel Problem HELPPP!!!

I just purchaced my first toyota, a 85 4runner with a 22re and 5speed. I got it running and everything has been fine... until yesterday. The fuel line in the engine compartment going to the fuel regulator on the back of the efi was dry rotted. Then later that evening the line running into the other end from the tank busted and I ran out of fuel. I replaced the both and no more leaks. Itbran rough and got better but still running rough when giving it gas. Esp in higher gears. And nowww theres a knocking coming from the efi intake or injectors or something idk. I can feel the fuel pulsating through the line I replaced and here the knocking noise loudly. All happened after the fuel line isdy5es and running out of fuel. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced and look forward to becoming apart of the yoda crowd and site.
