Fuel System Help/Advice

Hey guys...A while back I posted a water in the gas thread...and several shared they thought it might be the pump. So I bought a pump, and have not put it in yet..thought I'd give it another chance...well this morning, after sitting the night, I had the same rough running at low rpm's...hit the gas station, and filled to 7/8ths...and it stopped and is running smooth again. Should I do the pump this weekend??? and how difficult is the job?? I can't afford to go to the stealership...please share any pointers...THANKS Again

I told you so....

You need to use as much gas as you can so the tank is lighter. 18 gallon x 7# per gallon = 126#.

Drop the gas tank skid.
Loosen the gas tank mounting brackets
use a floor jack and lower the tank.

Remove the pump from the top and re-install new pump.

Jack the tank back up and bolt up.

Easy
