Full length roof rack for general use

I'm looking to get a full length rack on one of the black friday sales this year. I really like the Alpha Foxtrot racks but I've been trying to get in touch with them for over a week with no response. Can't even tell if they are still open for business.

Prinsu is my alternate choice at the moment. I'm not planning to put a tent up top but to use it to put gear up there once I'm at a camp site and to clear out the cargo area of the 4runner if I choose to sleep in it.

I saw a few Prinsu owners here who had mentioned some bending of the side rails. Is that still something to be concerned about? Is there any other rack I should consider in the same price range?

Thanks for the Sherpa suggestion but I have already ruled them out. They make nice racks but they have priced themselves out of the market for what I want as their rack is about $400 more than any of my other options, even with the black Friday Discount.

Your welcome. Since I put my rack up there I have not followed prices. I too had read about issues with Prinsu and some of the other racks in this space bending and needing to be replaced. I went with Sherpa for the thicker side rails, lead times, and customer service. I was not disappointed.

I'll keep an eye on my inbox and post here if I see any other BF sales that might apply.

RCI has a nice rack that uses similar mounting to the Sherpa. I ended up deciding on a Sherpa (mostly aesthetic reasons over the RCI) but the price on RCI is hard to beat. I purchased from Truck Brigade with Black Friday discount plus 5% off using code AND free shipping. Arrived Friday after ordering on Tuesday.
