Full roof rack or pull a trailer?

I have both. Have baja flat rack for long tent poles, flat tables or chairs. Plus I can now easily haul 2x4's or other lumber on top without having to use my trailer. The trailer, great for longer trips with lots of gear, going to the dump, hauling gravel, bark dust etc. been driving SUV's for 20 years (full size bronco and now a 4runner). Would be lost without the trailer.

I like the hitch rack for gear or bikes, but we have our dogs in the back just about always, and I don't want to have to deal with having to move all the hitch junk to be able to open the rear hatch.

But good work packing up!
