I can't believe the dealer pricing on vehicles like that. The other day saw a Tundra with a spacer lift and new wheels and tires that was listed is as an $8k addon. It makes me wonder how dumb the people are who actually buy those.
Also while at the dealer for the 30k service this week, I figured I'd give them a crack at pricing out the wheels and tires I want since they claim to match all prices (285 KO2's and KMC wheels). Their price was ~$1000 more than what a mounted and balanced set would cost at Discount Tire or 4 Wheel Parts. I just laughed and told them I would think about it. I feel sorry for the uninformed saps that buy stuff there.

You should install bar ends into your ankles. When you go into that dealer you just grab your bar ends and let them do the rest. A bit much for stuff you are more than likely going to replace, yes?

The scarier thing than that 50k price is the buyer that gets a couple grand knocked off and feeling like they got a great deal... someone will buy it when negotiating payments rather than price. :fear:
I didn't know that you could get that appearance package from either the dealer or the factory. :becky:

EXACTLY. I did mine off of a TEP and it was still MUCH less. All I have is left to do is a lift and MAYBE a cold air intake. This one did have the rear badge plasti dipped though and we all know how expensive that is!
The sales guy was kinda of tool too though. I even called him out on what is was and how much they jacked up the price! This is the same dealer that was asking for 50K for a jacked up FJ last year. They sold it but it took about a year.
