Future value of the 1st Gen 4runner???

Nice, but I'm not a fan of the mile marker hubs. Aisin all the way.

Don't get me wrong, all of us would like to have Aisin but the SR5 model mostly come with auto locking hubs. Finding OEM Aisin ones to replace them aren't easy so I had to settle for a pair of Superwinch. Nothing wrong with them as long as you don't wheel super hard lol.

Until I've found the Aisin...

Oh...and those I believe are Warn, aren't they?

They have to only go up in value. Let’s be honest they only have so much competition and have very unique features.

‘84-85 were the years to own. Here in AZ they are hens teeth and when they do come up for sale(which is rare) they command $12-15K. Only going one direction in value....

Open top suvs are ridiculous(ly fun) and will continue, millennials love this stuff and will drive $ up.

I have some old first gen Broncos that was dumb redneck trucks a decade ago and now they can bring six figures.

Fj are the same.

First gen 4runners will be there soon. They’re cool and most are rusted out/sbc’ed or generally wheeled to death.

I believe the value of the 1st gens will only increase. The removable top and customizable features it boasts make it hold its value very well. I would love to get my hands on one but the cheapest I have seen for a very clean 1st gen here in the PNW is 6k. Can get them for cheaper as long as you don’t care about straight sheet metal
