What makes me have the "right" answers sometimes? It is called having logic and common sense. Thinking things through helps a lot. :)

I think most, if not all, CHL (or CCL) owners think that Zimmerman went beyond his "duty" to follow Trayvon. Was this court case about that? NO. How anyone could interpret otherwise is beyond me!

So, yeah, maybe it is YOU who is ignorant of the case. Again, feel free to prove me wrong in what I have written here or anywhere on this forum.

Maybe I am getting old, but who is Mary Jane?????

I don't think a lot of you have even read into this as much as you should have. He was the head of the neighbor hood watch. He was doing his responsibilities of watching his neighborhood and trying to keep it safe after there had already been multiple break ins. He didn't call 911. He called the non emergency line. He had called before on other suspicious guys and by the time the cops got there they had ran off. So as someone being frustrated with the "punks" breaking in and stealing stuff in your neighborhood and as the head of the neighborhood watch it was his responsibility to WATCH OUT. He didn't get out of his car and follow until Trayvon started running. Sounds kind of suspicious to just randomly start running. He didn't get out of his car wielding his gun. He was still on the phone at the time with the dispatcher and when the dispatcher told him not to chase him, he stopped and continued to talk to the dispatcher and try to tell the dispatcher where he wanted the police to meet him. It wasnt until he hung up and was heading back to his car that Trayvon jumped out on him and as witnesses have stated, was on top of him smashing his head into the ground. And once Trayvon saw and went for the gun so did George Zimmerman. If you are fighting someone over a gun, I think that turns into fearing for your life.
