G. Zimmerman

i heard a funny radio personality recently say: Zimmerman should change his name to Benghazi; then no one would talk about him!" ;)

See, that doesn't make sense to me either... why would she divorce before these suits are paid out and any potential book/movie contracts are signed?

I hear ya, but she started the divorce process some time ago...not long after the initial incident or the court case (can't remember which I read) AND waaaaaay before this incident popped up.

Wow. He just split from his wife in September and he's already been living with another woman long enough to begin abusing her too? The guy's a train wreck. He is some kind of special coward to reach for his gun every time things don't go his way. In my state (VA) if you force a person to move by force or threat (gun) you are committing an abduction. He forced the girlfriend out of her house at gun point. I'm hoping for a felony conviction so they take his guns away.

These aren't my words, I saw this text elsewhere. But it is what I would have typed, if I had the time.

Lets let the judicial system sort these allegations out; you know, he is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. He may be guilty, or he could be an easy target for mean spirited *****es. We do not know enough facts about the alleged incidents or the "victims" to make even a wild ass guess at this point. I don't believe the Trayvon Martin experience left him feeling empowered to blast or threaten anyone who gives him a problem with legal impunity. The experience could have unhinged him though as the result of a substantial percentage of the population believing he was a racist killer rather than acting in self defense. Time and facts will tell.

George Zimmerman is such a toxic person and a lightning rod that he'd be super easy to frame. All any of those women (who may have an axe to grind) have to do is say "George Zimmerman" and "gun" in the same sentence and he's going to jail.

People suggesting that he's somehow a "victim" here are making me LOL.

July 13, 2013 -- A jury acquits Zimmerman of all charges related to Martin's death.

July 28, 2013 -- Police in Texas pull over the former neighborhood watch captain for speeding. The police report says Zimmerman informed the officer during the stop that he had a gun in the glove compartment. Zimmerman was let off with a verbal warning.

August 2013 -- Zimmerman stirs up controversy by visiting a Florida gun manufacturer, Kal-Tec, TMZ reported. That company makes the gun that Zimmerman used to shoot Martin.

August 19, 2013 -- Police pull over Zimmerman and warn him that the window tint on his car is too dark, according to police records.

September 3, 2013 -- Police pull over George Zimmerman yet again in early September for going 60 in a 45 mph zone in Lake Mary, Florida, and he received a $256 ticket. He was not carrying a weapon at the time.

September 5, 2013 -- Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, files for divorce.

September 9, 2013 -- Zimmerman is taken into custody after an alleged domestic dispute with his estranged wife. Florida police later released a report that revealed no charges would result from the incident.

November 18, 2013 -- Police arrest Zimmerman and charge him with felony assault for allegedly pointing a gun at his girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe. Shellie Zimmerman's attorney served Zimmerman with divorce papers as he sat in jail.

November 19, 2013 -- Zimmerman is released on $9,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for January 7.

"I'm sure he's just misunderstood, let's reserve judgement fellow gun nuts."

ndcent Strange how your timeline left out him saving a family from an overturned car?

I don't disagree with your profound in-depth timeline including what store he visited and how many bowel movements he has had since his last speeding ticket, but just wondering....

Was this timeline created by white guilt folks or white supremacy group? I bet the former.

Point is this dude could empty his magazine into a toddler on live tv and the Zimmerman apologists would still argue in his favor.

He's basically the hero of every latent racist insecure gun nut in America and anything tarnishing their shining image of him at this point should be brushed off, it's like the media's or societies fault or something. Riiiiight.

And we should believe EVERYTHING that the media reports, right? Riiiiight.

Dude, it goes both ways. I agree with you that Zimmerman is a strange fellow that MAY deserve what he is getting...but with the media making huge mistakes in recent past, i won't jump to any conclusion just yet. Don't you agree? Your last two posts above smack of judgemental idiocy.

What kind of apologist are you?

I can respect and find reason in not jumping to a conclusion about his most recent arrest and realize that works both ways - jumping to the conclusion that he's a psychopath who should be publicly hanged or that he's somehow unfairly judged and "misunderstood" and "easily framed." Both equally ridiculous, IMO.
