Haha thats awesome, 1.73 is very good, I'm 1.20 right now.. working my way up. Do you play it on ps3 or 360?
 
I play it on the 360. So I played yesterday before I had to goto my God awful job, and one round I went like 23 kills and 6 deaths w/ the Thompson. So I was pretty pumped and thought "Yea man, I can actually get into this now." Well after that game I unlocked Hardcore, went over there... murder. I got slaughtered, got mad, and turned it off lol.

Maybe you should turn that PS3 of yours in and get a real mans machine :bigok:

That's pretty good, I always sucked at core, I hated the fact that it takes a whole clip to kill someone.

But yeah I considered an xbox360, but after I talked to several friends and co-workers that had them, and they fried several times, I was like... noo I'll just go with the ps3, and then there's the fact to you have pay to play online, what's that about?
 
So I downloaded Combat Arms two days ago. It is VERY good for a free game.

I had problems connecting last night and this afternoon, but I'm hoping it will start working before long.
 
Yea, I see where you're coming from w/ the Xbox's burning out. My first one lasted about 2 and a half years until I got the red rings of death. But overall, I feel the online play is sooo much easier than the PS3, and I can't hold a PS3 controller to save my life.

Also, I jumped back on CoD5 the other... I got smoked again! I dunno what's wrong w/ me, I just can't seem to do anything but die!

I tried downloading that Combat Arms game, but it never worked on my computer, not sure why. I might have to look back into it again.

Yeah I sucked at first, until I got use to the maps. I know just about every camping spot where someone might be! :bigok:
 
Really old school here. surprised there is a lot of action on Battlefield Vietnam. Also original BF2. really got to get some new ones soon.
 
Personally I don't think WaW plays as well as MW; MW graphics are spot on, it's use of modern weapons makes it fresh and fun. However, WaW is better than COD3 (done by the same people) but it lacks the play ability of MW - graphically I don't think it's superior to COD4 and I don't care if body parts get blown off if it isn't as much fun to play.

I just can't get into WaW.

As for 360 vs PS3 - I've played COD4 on both and I prefer the 360 online version over the PS3s (which isn't as user friendly).

I dunno man, WaW and MW are the exact same games, they play the same IMO, controls are the same etc. except the guns and maps are different, that's it. WaW graphics are way more advanced of course, plus there are more weapons. Then there's nazi zombies and co-op mode which are badass.

If they made COD6 and went back to Modern Warfare w/ the advancements that WaW has, then that would be the best game. But for now, I just can't get into Modern Warfare after playing World at War..
 
Battlefield Vietnam is the single best game in the history of video games. A close second is BF2 on the computer.
