Thanks guys! I think the BFGs looked better and I'm sure they were better off road but these are quieter and seem to be improving the MPGs. Hopefully I will get a chance to do a little off road testing soon but not sure when it all be. Also, I'm not saying these look bad, just think the BFGs looked a little better but looks aren't everything and these are more suited to my current needs. I'll probably put 285s and more aggressive tires again after these but couldn't justify it now.
shall, thanks, when I got my wheels powdercoated the guy melted the OEM ones so I bought those emblems from eBay and they were gold so I had to paint them, just used spray paint. Alternatively, it could be done by using red plastidip and peeling the inside parts out.

I'm not very happy with the OME 885s to be honest, regardless of tires they're just too stiff for my weight (2wd v6, no winch/bumper).
I'm hoping to sell them to a local guy with an FJ with bumper & winch. He's going to give me his stock springs and I'm going to either run those with 2.5" on the bilsteins or possible buy the toytec ultimate conversions.
I had the FJ springs on mine for a while and it road well so I may just stick with those and save money.
Here are a couple recent shots (also on page 1 now)
By the way these are not GY Silent Armors apparently. They are Goodyear Extreme All Terrains, as far as I've seen they're only available this size and look almost exactly the same as GYSAs except a few more of the very small sipes. I thought they were the GYSAs when I ordered and I'm not really that disappointed since they ride well and were cheap. Took almost 6 oz. per wheel (on the inside) to balance though.

Thanks Bruce! Glad you've enjoyed it. Hope you're still enjoying the FJ stuff (as I believe I was one of those who helped convince you to do it)
I don't think there are going to be a lot more mods except maybe a different front suspension setup. I'm debating buying a Jeep YJ (maybe CJ, TJ, or even an old FJ depending on price) for a dedicated trail rig and that's where my extra money for mods will be funneled for a while.
Maybe no new mods but don't worry I'll continue posting pics (hopefully mostly good ones) when I take the 4R on trips and to pretty locations. Getting a couple new lenses for Christmas so I'll be shooting pics for sure!

Got bored today and went out to take some pics. Grabbed a few of the 4R & my new toy, thought I'd share since I know everyone loves pics...
I mentioned looking for Jeeps in some previous posts and I decided to try and work on a '75 Wagoneer my friend and I bought 6 or 7 years ago for $300. I bought his half from him a few days ago (instead of spending much more on a Wrangler) and now I'm going to try to get it going and prepped for some serious trail riding.
AMC 360, Dana 44s, 33x12.5s, more info in my "Garage"

I read up to page 9 of this thread and then decided to ask you a question, so bear with me if you've answered this already.
I really like the the LED lighting you did and have a question about the ones under the running boards. I know you connected those to the lights in the running boards. My truck does not have any lights in the running boards. Any suggestion of how to get the wiring into the cabin without doing anything major such as drilling holes in the truck?

*I* probably cannot, but there is plenty of room so I'm sure someone with more skills and money could. I think there are a few cummins swaps over on IFSJA.org. I'm sticking with the 360 for now though, hopefully a new intake and 4 barrel will add some pep.

Hopefully it'll be on tomorrow night & I'll post pics of it installed..
I got the special order 2.0 suspension from Overland Warehouse with the lighter 600 lb. coils and rear shocks, I'm gonna stick with my SAW 1.5" rear coils for now. I don't want to go any bigger and I'm actually going to lower the front a bit from where it sits now so there is a bit of rake.
