Gauging interest if I were to sell my soft tops

Due to circumstances I may sell my soft tops that I just bought. When I bought them I was banking on my home refinance going through which was going to save me $150/month...didn't happen.

That coupled with the fact my second child is due any day now has me on a little shakier financial ground than I would like to be on.

I don't have to let them go, and I will keep them if I can't get what I want out of them.

Anyone that would be interested?

Ok man, take this for what it's worth.

I am a cancer survivor. I went down two years ago and lost a year of my life to treatments that I thought were going to kill me. It was a strain on my wife and kids and still is.

I came back and am doing ok now. We just had a baby boy to add to our two girls, and are looking at a major relocation move. But, we have to shoestring EVERYTHING as our debt load from loosing a year's worth of wages and the medical bills left after the insurance stopped paying is horrendous.

I sold some things when I was down sick to try to make ends meet. Some of the things were ok (like a Suburban) and we needed the money more than the item. Other things (like my mountain bike and a light bar) netted us little enough it was not worth it....worse, I cannot replace them now.

Short end of my point: if things don't look too good right now, but you don't need to sell something like your tops, don't. If you do, get the best price you can, because who can tell if you will be able to replace them. Selling a tv, no biggie. Those are 20 bucks at the pawn shop for something that will work fine. Selling a cool soft top that had to cost around $700 (I am shopping to replace my CJ's top) is not going to be easy to replace.
