As some of you know I just got a set of the Grabber ATX's installed and after driving it for a couple of weeks I thought I'd share my opinion of them in case anyone is interested. In short, I'm very happy with them. When I first got them put on I had a vibration at about 60 mph but after they rebalanced them they're nice and smooth. They are slightly louder than the Geolander street tires that they replaced but still very quiet for an A/T tire. On the road there's barely any noticeable difference between them and the Geolanders. The only complaint I have, which is very minor, is if it sits a couple of days they tend to flat spot a little so the first mile or so down the road is a little bumpy. After that though they're a smooth as I could ask for. For looks, I love them. The tread reminds me of the KO2's and the sidewall is aggressive which is something I really wanted. Unfortunately, I haven't been offroad so I can't offer an opinion on that. My offroading consists of driving on gravel forest service roads in the mountains so I'll probably never be able to fully appreciate what they can do in that respect. The wet and dry traction seems excellent. So overall, I'm pretty much totally satisfied with them.

i have new goodyear trailrunner AT's on my 4runner that sits for a few days to a week sometimes & also have 3 muscle cars that sit for months at a time & are rarely driven, flat spots are pretty normal if the car sits for a few days but being they are radials they always even out in a mile or 2 of driving.

So lemme sum it up: you had this tires for 2 weeks, only drove them on the road and you are happy and you like the looks. That's some in-depth review right here %)
What tires are you comparing them to? Some old worn out Geolanders? What else did you run? Are they better than other competitive AT?
At what point did I promise you a long term, in depth review? I shared my initial opinion on these tires for anyone who might care to read it. There's no reason for you to be a jerk about it. In the future you can just ignore my posts since they don't live up to what you expect. Sorry to disappoint you, but I didn't ask for your approval, nor do I care to have it. Get lost.
Thanks firebirdguy. Yeah, about a mile or so and they're good to go. I can live with that since they ride good the rest of the time. Reminds me of when I was in high school I was a bus driver, (yeah, back then they let students drive the bus) and on Monday morning it was like they had square wheels for a little while.

I've run the General ATX LT tires on my 08 4Runner for about 30k miles now. Tread wear is great and many more miles to go. I did have vibration concerns and Discount Tire had issues trying to balance 4 times! I wonder if people with KO2's have balancing/vibration issues also? Otherwise these tires are AWESOME. Off road and even in snow these perform great. I love them.

I ended up getting the regular version. What PSI do you run the LT version at?
I usually run 40psi year round and it's not too harsh. The LT are heavy tires so trying to max the fuel econ!

Had my atx for a few months now. Before that I had KO2 in C load. ATX are SL. Right off the bat the ride is more supple. The same road to my house would always be bumpy with KO2s. Feels like a cheap lowered Honda. Freeway is always an exercise because it would do crab walk. With the ATX same road to my house, it’s more smooth. Freeway crab walk has become less noticeable. Can’t believe I’ve been crying for years why my 4runner is so scary to drive on freeway. Full front end rebuild and it all came down to the KO2s. Run my tire pressure at 38 and no balance issues on first try. SMH
