Dang, I've got to get my parlance correct!

Since the V8's 4WD can't be switched into 2WD mode, doesn't that also make AWD?

I'm kind of extra stoked about this - I mean our 4.4i X5 was a pretty sweet ride, but the T4R feels more like it "clicks" with us, plus I've been a huge fan of Toyota (had a GS300 and a 4th Gen Supra).

Starting to shop some accesories! Woot!



Yeah, the allocations of color/trim/engine/drive seem to skip a few common combos, but they seem to be building a ton so I'm sure something will eventually come through the channel.

Great to hear that the SM color is that awesome (and worth tracking down).

We have a X5 and a 4runner. Got the wife the X5 so she wouldn't complain about me getting the 4rnr and upgrading it. She still complained...

The X5 is great on the road and if you were only a roadwarrior might be a better choice. My gripe about the X5 is you can't pack much more than your wallet on a trip with you.

The 4rnr on the other hand holds a bunch of stuff. It almost as much as our minivan.

Off road the 4rnr takes the lead for sure...
