Getting stain out of cloth?

Hi guys,

I've read a trillion different directions for getting a caked up stain out of cloth seats online.

Instead of having to try the 20 methods, can someone advise me from personal experience what will work best/easiest? I'm OK with buying something or making something at home, whatever is effective.

I think it was food of some kind, unfortunately I left it so long I forgot now. It's caked on there... if that makes sense.

Scrapes apart if you scratch fingernail on it...

Get most of the crud off first,I'd keep on scraping and/or a damp hot towel or rag to soften it and wipe off.
Any remaining stains should easily come off with a foaming cleaner like Tuff Stuff

Folex is a good cleaner as well and not expensive. It can remove most kinds of stains.
