GF Performance Chip Kit for the TOYOTA 4RUNNER

Has anyone tried this? Is this legit or a scam? I have scene this add on several websites and quite a few magazines... rather ask you than just put it in. thanks

I don't know it personally but I thought most all of these were either scams or not healthy for stock engines/computer systems.

My father put a GF Chip in his '99 4Runner 2.7L, and it does seem to have a little more power, but fuel economy went down a bit. Certainly not 69 horsepower though, that would give it more than the 3.4 V6. Maybe just a few horsepower. But I'm not going to put one in my 4Runner, not worth it
