totally agree that 2k isn't much and if possible, I would wait and save up a bit. the most expensive car is that cheap car you buy just because it fits the price
that being said, nothing beats a 4cyl accord/civic or the toyota equivalent camry/corolla. they will last forever, cheap to fix if anything does break, and they're not powerful enough to get into any real trouble with
