Well after 13 straight days of trying (absolutely top notch customer service :nono I finally got someone on the phone and they told me that my order (paid on 3/9) should be ready middle next week and ready for local pick up thurs or fri.

Being that we just ticked by the 6-week mark, I couldn't stand it anymore and talked to Sandra at Gobi this afternoon. My order, paid for on 3/4 is scheduled for shipping next week. The freight company will contact us to schedule, yada yada. Now I just pray that gets here before next weekend from CO since I'm dying for a good wrenching day.

If any of ya'll are lucky enough to have yours ship this week (per those earlier message updates), I hate you.

Anyone who missed this, I have a 5th gen Gobi Stealth Rack for sale in Portland Oregon. No looking to ship but I could meet within a few hours. Includes the Rack, Ladder, awning brackets and sunroof insert. Asking $1500 OBO

Order placed on 3/2 and still not a word from the shipping co, Gobi, or Trail Duty. at the 7 1/2 week mark..... Would be nice to get some updates.

No word here either and its driving me crazy. This will be the 2nd weekend in a row where I've shuffled plans to make time for wrenching, only to have no parts in hand. Gobi told me last week that they would be shipping early-middle of this week, but still nothing. I wonder if RCFJ who paid the week after us was able to pick his up in person today/tomorrow as he was told?

Nobody is getting their rack for another 2 or more weeks. No chance, not happening so do yourself a favor and try to forget about it or you're going to drive yourself crazy. There is zero point in even asking how much longer because thats just the way it is and nobody can change that. They were backed up before this group buy, we were quoted 4-6 weeks, so that means it's going to be at least 6-8 weeks or more. Someone ordered his in February and still hasn't gotten it. Group buys are great for saving cash but they royally suck for time.

I apologize for being incorrect. Make that 8-10 weeks. They were way backed up before this GB so I wouldn't expect anything until next week or the week after. Sucks but thats the nature of group buys. And if you haven't spoken to Sandra at Gobi don't expect a warm hearted motherly type of woman to apologize profusely.

With the amount of order, very early on, we talked about the revised lead time to approx. 8 weeks.

Please do not plan your schedule around when to "expect" this unless you get a call/contact from the freight company. It's almost like planning your money spending on winning a lottery.

It comes when it comes. Let it be a surprise, rather than be a constant disappointment when it doesn't.

I was told mine would ship last week then nothing and was told I would have it by Monday and still nothing. I think Sandra is just giving us lip service to keep us happy. In her and Gobis defense we hit them with a 50+ order.

So how long has it been since some have paid because I decided I wouldn't even think about mine until at least 8-10 weeks minimum because we hit them with a really large order. I'm sure we're not their only customers either. I'd rather wait and have them build it right than get it quick because they've slapped it together in a rush. Has any received their's?
