For those that are looking for light bars, rear lights, hood lights etc... 4Wheel Parts is having a 50% off sale. Yeah I know, "4Wheel Parts sucks", but we're not talking about their service issues which some members have had. I've seen their light bars in use and they are built very well and produce a lot of light. The beam patterns are spot on for whatever type you choose. The Pro Comp lights have a lifetime warranty, they'll replace it for free if it breaks and its transferable between different owners.

I checked out your build and saw you mentioned it was finicky with the Gobi rack ready mounts. Any reason why and or have you found a solution?

Also, how did your rear LED's turn out? (any pics of them mounted / switches installed / lighting?)

The GOBI rack mount seems to be designed with straight LED bars in mind. A few other members have had the same issues with their curved bars and remedied them. I just ran out of time installing it yesterday. As soon as I get off work today my plan it to work on it and get it resolved.

Rear lights seem to be great. I haven't fully tested them yet as I'm not done with my wiring, but they seem to be just as good of quality as the front bar. Again, hoping to have everything rapped up this evening after work.

It's kind of a double edge sword. You save 50% but then end up buying more than you need bringing you back to what you spend full price, lol. I might just have to install a 36" above my headboard.

I just got it in yesterday so I can't say much about it, but initial impressions are great. It is very sturdy and has some heft to it. Feels pretty well made and is bright as the sun IMO. I've never seen a rigid or other high end bar in person, but this one has more than met my expectations. Long term reliability is up in the air but for $199 it is well worth it.

Also keep in mind, most of the bars out there come from just a few of the same manufacturers in China and rebranded. Hanma is one of the big ones. Seeing the pictures of the Desert Rat bar people are buying, I wouldn't be surprised if it comes from the same place.

We run Rigid and Baja Designs on our race cars and you can feel the difference just holding them in your hand. Can't comment on output yet... Overall they are a higher quality in my mind but, even with a racer discount, it's hard for me to justify the price.

When did you order? Make it about 8 weeks from that date approx. for it to finish. Then is the shipping.

For those of you keeping track, I purchased on 3/9, got the call from shipping on Monday 5/18. They wanted to deliver on Tuesday but I wasn't available until today, 5/22. This was a very long week knowing my rack was sitting in some cold, dark storage facility alone. It'll probably an extremely short weekend too. I'll try to teach myself to post pics.
