I was #91. Arrived last week. Installed last Saturday (solo except when I placed rack on rails which require help). Road trip to Lassen tomorrow

It seems like those that ordered through trailduty are getting their racks first. Which is strange.

I ordered directly through gobi and already have mine. it was available 2+ weeks back (#32 on list)

Still waiting for mine. #51 on the list. Placed my oder on December 2nd with Trail Duty.
I emailed them today asking what's up. My prediction is they'll reply and say it will arrive within a week.
My theory is, both Trail Duty and Gobi are not going off of order date, and definitely not going off of what number you are on the Group Buy list. They are going off of some other indexing, probably not random. Maybe by last name revers order, which I hate since my last name begins with "A"
I'm also starting to realize that the noisiest order probably gets the worm first. If you just sit back and do nothing, maybe you'll get lucky and a rack will show up on your doorstep, or maybe you'll wait for eternity. If you become a noisy nelly, you get bumped to the front of the line.

Hey! First post here. Just heard from Trail Duty on my order. Placed 2/15, Gobi is claiming 4/17 ship date. Right at the 8 week for me but we will see if they make the deadline. Fingers crossed that I will be like the other trail duty guys here in thread and get my rack in the right t-frames. Bummer for you group buy guys but it is what it is sometimes when you try to beat the house! Cheers!

Just got off the phone with Gobi, the rack is done and being packed. With luck, it's shipping this afternoon and will be delivered next week, hopefully before Good Friday. I got the day off so that's the project for the day. Time to wash her and put on a couple coats of wax on the roof, then brush up on the install thread. Hah! #61
Yesterday I posted that they would charge the CC when the shipping company had it. I commented how that was a strange practice. So, about 2130est I get a call from Gobi asking for my CC as they didn't have the right number. Low and behold 5min later I was charged. So maybe, just maybe, they are shipping it and I will get a call Mon or Tue about delivery. We will see.
Can you measure how far back from the front of the roof line does the wind deflector make contact on the roof? I am looking to get some clear film to put on top of the roof line where the deflector makes contact with the roof.
