If anyone interested, Gobi Rack customer support told me the distance between the cross bars is 42"

I worked VERY hard to get this GB put together for the team, lots of convincing and negotiating behind the scene. They don't really have to do this for us as their products will sell whether they are discounting them or not. They still having one of the best racks out there for our 4Runners and for Jeeps. They are already production volume constrainted too. They are only doing this for us just cuz we had a good relationship with them.
One thing that should make you feel better tho, you got your rack before anyone else here, right?

It was nice seeing the rack show up at my house. 12 weeks on the dot. Ow I gotta get it installed. At the end of the day it's just money and good stuff is worth spending it on
