Gobi stealth install time.

Hey guys,

Just got notified by Gobi rack and ladder will be delivered in a few days. I have looked at several install videos but I’m wondering how long the process took people on here to install. I will have a helping hand when I do the install. Any tips you guys reccomend?

How Long was your wait time from initial order? And did you get the no rise option?

I installed mine in about 2 hours ladder and all. That was putting the rack on the roof myself as I had no help. Taking the factory rack off and cleaning the roof took longer than the install.

I would say around two hours taking your time and allowing for a few beers.

About 2 hours, only needed somebody to help lift the tray up. Use the anti-seize on everything! I had the deflector bolts jam up with the stainless. Had to go to the hardware store to get stronger ones.

I ordered it back in November during the Black Friday sale. Thanks for the video links. Did you need to buy additional anti seize or did they provide enough for you?

I went with the no rise multi light set up.

There is enough anti seize to do the job. I would recommend using silicone on the mounts like the like above shows.

I just installed mine on Sunday. took me about 4 hours ( Including cleaning the roof and using Carpro ceramic coating ( highly recommend this, since you are not going to be able to clean it well after the rack is up there ) Uninstalled the factory rack and installed Gobi brackets by myself but had my wife help put it on the roof
