Going to Mammoth Nov 23-25th, any good scenic off roading spots?

I'll be going to Mammoth for the first time on Nov 23rd-25th and I'm not that big on skiing so trying to fill the days with other activities. I have a TRD Pro so I assume I should be fine up there even in the snow but I wouldn't want to do any crazy off roading(risk body damage) so just looking for decent off roading or something scenic. Let me know if anyone has any recommendations.

Sooooo many good spots off the 395! Check my trip report.

Just to give you an idea:
Alabama Hills / Movie Rd - west of Lone Pine.
Tons of fire roads off White Mountain Rd, off the 168 east of Big Pine
Buttermilk Rd, west of Bishop off highway 168. Lots of small trails to mines up this way too.
Casa Diablo Rd, north of Bishop
Benton Crossing Road, dirt roads to hot springs if you can find them
Laurel Lakes Rd, just south of Mammoth off of Sherwin Creek Rd. Nice dirt trail to some beautiful scenery.
Deadman Creek Rd, north of Mammoth.

Download some google maps before you go, fire roads are on there and there's plenty of options east of Mammoth/395.
Some of the gas stations/stores may have a free backroads guide as well.

If you want something in the town of Mammoth, hit up Old Mammoth Scenic Route. It's pretty easy. I did it in a my stock TEP.

Google Obsidian Dome, not many know about it outside Mammoth. Great place to visit. Tons of Dragon Glass

Does anyone know if most of this will be closed by late December? Will any of it "for sure" be closed?

White Mountain Rd. will close before you get to the Bristlecone Visitors Center
Buttermilk Road is always open, but maybe impassable due to snow drifts.
Same with Benton Crossing, Laurel Lakes and Deadman Creek.
Casa Diablo is low in the valley and should always be snow free.
Expect some great snowy mtn views from Alabama Hills.

But as far as anything being 'for sure' closed, only White Mountain Rd depending on snow fall.
