Going to replace some suspension parts

I'm going to do my inner and outer tie rods and lower ball joints. I plan on just ordering it all from rock auto. I'm new to Toyota and 4runners. What brands do you guys get? There is so many I've never heard of and don't want to get crappy parts. That's my only real question lol. Already found the write ups and they all look real simple.

Try and use oem if you can afford. Plenty of online Toyota parts online with discounts. If nothing else, make sure to use Toyota Ball Joints. Just search lbj failure to see why.

Just whatever you do only use OEM for the lower ball joints. Aftermarket ones are cheaper quality, and when they fail, they fail catastrophically.

See this is why is ask. Ok, oem lower ball joints. Thanks guys. I always go oem on ignition but didn't know about the ball joint thing.

Well, to be honest, when OEM lower ball joints fail—they fail catastrophically too. With OEM however, you buy some peace of mind as it will most likely be a long time before that happens.

Previous owner of my truck had the passenger side fail at 354,000 miles. When I took the possession of the truck at that point, I replaced the driver side too as it was about to do the same.

Good point. Your wheel is falling off regardless. I'll just go oem and be done with it. I don't see myself putting another 200k on anyway so this will probably be the only time they're done.
