Good deal on tundra coil purchase?

So I have lined up a guy who wants to sell me coilovers from his 05 trd 4x4 double cab. Susp. has 45k or so on it, 160 shipped. Shocks need new bushings, but hes gonna take care of that if I buy them. Good deal?

I found a guy not to long ago to sell me a pair for $100. Ending up falling through, but I've seen offers around the same price from members looking for TRD Coilovers as well.

Make sure that you get the color code from him first (paint dots on the coils), Tundra TRD Coils. Left, 48131-AF100 (Yellow/Yellow). Right, 48131-AF090 (Blue/Yellow)
The TRD coils fit:
4wd, access cab, w/off road pkg. 2000 - 2002
2wd Access cab 2003 - 2004
4wd Access cab Left 2003 - 2004

It sounds like you would get the coil/shock combo. Built? This would save some labor. What shocks?

I may have my TRD coils and brand new Bilstein F4-BE5-2450-HO for sale soon!

Well his tundra is a double cab so maybe I won't get the right springs. And the shocks according to that website are the stiffer ones. But maybe if they're 45k old they've stiffened up a little.

Get the color codes from him, they may be the right coils.
The Tundra shocks are valved stiffer.
I would say, for a 45k on a Bilstein/TRD combo is low miles.

PS I love my TRD coils, I'm probably going to an adjustable CO for more lift and adjustment. I've been thinking of some way to use my coils with adjustable sleeves but COs use a longer coil and are flat on both ends.

That price sounds about right, I paid more for mine with 61640k on them, but they are shipping them to Canada.

I must have read that thread 1000 times...still cant find anything that mentions double cabs with the ry/rb. What does YMMV stand for btw?

I think the issue would be you would still get some lift but they springs may not be progressive which could cause a stiffer ride.

Right, but all the quotes on the page describe the TRD package as having progressive rate springs, not just TRD on 2wd having the springs.
