Got a tech question for the wise ones

My 87 w/ 22RTE has gotten where it runs like its not getting quite enough fuel or has a bad miss BUT it only does it after it warms up enough for the t-stat open, until it does it runs perfect. It will still get up to 70+ on the interstate but you can tell it's struggling a little until it levels out. Seems a lot worse at low speeds.
I have just recently changed the t-stat and water pump prior to it doing this and wouldn't think it would make any difference but you never know.
Plugs, wires, distributor cap & button are all new but I checked them to make sure they are all ok, I've also looked for loose connections and vacuum leaks.

Sounds like a fuel mixture issue, what would be related with that and water temp? Maybe the cold start injector timer or the computer water temp sensor?

If you didn't bleed all the air from the cooling system, maybe the ECM temp sensor (not the gauge sensor) is giving the correct temp due to an air pocket.

I am by no means a technician nor very knowledgeable but here is an idea, incorrect ignition timing? I had a 92' Runner that was very sluggish at high speeds (over 45 mph haha) and I found out my timing was too advanced

If you didn't bleed all the air from the cooling system, maybe the ECM temp sensor (not the gauge sensor) is giving the correct temp due to an air pocket.

You might try turning the heat on full, I had an issue with overheating once because of an air pocket in the system after replacing a water pump. Once I turned the heat to full, I could hear the air and water rushing through the heater core.

I ran injector cleaner through it and so far so good.

Drove it to work monday and it ran like a champ so I guess I got it.
