Hello everyone.

Long time Toyota enthusiast here. Through out the years I've had my share of car and admittedly, it hasn't always been a Toyota. What I have always had though is a Toyota truck! Reliable, tough and easy to maintain, it's probably the only thing I know that will last indefinitely.

Unless some stupid idiot runs into it while it was parked!

Luckily, nobody got seriously hurt and insurance paid me a fair price.

This time around I want more seating and of course a 22R (like my last truck). I could've easily gotten a 3rd gen, but MPG was on the top of my list. 2nd gens are cool but I think the 1st gen has more of a "personality" (sorry 2nd gen owners). So without farther a due, here's my new ride.

An 87 4Runner SR5, 22R, power windows/locks, OEM moonroof with 160k.

Welcome to the Forum and I had a nice 87 for a while. Yours looks pretty clean and in good shape. Hope it treats you well for many years.

Thanks guys! I've been doing maintenance and a little cleaning up on the truck and the signs are very good. Aside from my first truck that I bought brand new, this is turning out to be the one that has the least major issues. Some of these trucks amazes me that it's over 20-25 years old.
