Hello everyone! I just want to say this forum has been an amazing resource for me. Earlier this year was in the market for a second vehicle that would serve multiple purposes as a DD and TV, but also had to be suitable for occasional off-road use. I narrowed it down to a small handful of vehicles and ultimately pulled the trigger on a 2005 Sport Edition V8 back in May. This forum (and the legendary reputation of these vehicles) sold me on it. I'm so glad I did- this vehicle has been amazing; so amazing in fact that I found myself driving the T4R more than my other vehicle (a BMW 135i), and ended up selling the Bimmer
No regrets.
So far, I've only done maintenance to her. It was a very clean find, but it had 117K on the clock with no indication the timing belt had been done, so I did that along with the water pump, spark plugs, diff fluids, transfer case fluids, PS fluid (i know, lol) and did the WS transmission fluid flush. The only thing that hasn't been changed yet is the brake fluid, but the brakes and tires were new when I got her so I'll leave it alone for now.
The only mods I've done were for convenience/comfort. It had the common blown climate control lights, so I replaced them with red LEDs, replaced the JBL head unit with an aftermarket stereo so I can have bluetooth, navigation, etc. when I'm towing long distances, and did a full interior LED swap as well. When I get around to it, lift and tires are next

It would be one thing if it was covered in mud or something cool, but it's just got "highway grime" on it right now.
