Greyed Out BLUETOOTH OPTIONS on Camry Nav?

Just installed Nav (Camry version) in 2004 4Runner...had some bumps, but installed and all is GREAT.

When running diagnostics, I noticed a greyed out Bluetooth Options area in the menus. Any ideas on this?

Is it in there, and can it be made functional?

DVD version

MM, what version is your DVD in the Nav unit, I have a 2003 4Runner with NAV, and DVD version 02.1 , I'm not sure about the bluetooth option, how do you run diagnostics? I will check mine. Also will the NAV unit you just installed allow for route guidance on all roads such as backroads, mine will only provide map and voice guidance on major roads and interstates or large cities.

Not sure what is up with your NAV. Yes, the Toyota NAV will guide you on all roads covering the entire US and Canada. I even had it guide me to use a parking lot as a short cut... and all the forest service roads, etc... are there and it uses them when needed.

I remember reading something in setup...

I think there is a SETUP option for voice prompts that allows you to adjust when things are spoken. If I recall, there were options to adjust FREEWAY, HIGHWAY, ALL, etc for spoken directions.

I have mine set to ALL VOICE PROMPTS as my wife loves to chat....lol


Doing this from memory as I have had the unit installed for 48 hours now.
