Grill Guard For 07

Expensive Hobby

New member
Just bought an 07 4Runner. I am looking for a black Manik grill guard for it. I would also settle for a Westin if I had to. I don't want an Aries as I don't like how the headlight guards tilt up and look like wings. I have been searching for a couple of days online and all I can find are links that don't work and websites that have generic off brands with no pictures of how they look on a 4runner. Does anyone have a lead on where I can find a manik or a westin?

BTW I have no interest in debating the merits of grill guards. I am a farmer and I live in a rural area. Deer are my biggest concern and grill guards offer good protection against deer. But I do want one that looks decent.

Thanks

If you’re looking for true protection, and don’t want a complete steel/aluminum bumper, then you should check out the hybrid type bumper inserts such as those made by C4 Fab, and now by Victory. There is a thread on the Victory version in this forum currently if you want to check it out. The issue with the type you are asking about is that on these vehicles, there is literally no support for the tubing, so if you actually hit something (like a deer), it will fold in and do more damage to your front end than the object likely would have. With the hybrid style you will get a solid frame attachment to transfer the forces, and also have a solid mount for a winch if you decide to add one at some point. Not knocking your decision to add protection, just wanted to point out a better option you may not have known about.

Here is the thread about the offering from Victory.
