Grill - New or used

Getting kind of sick of the chrome grill on my 4runner so I'm looking for a color matched grill.

So would you buy a new that is already painted or would you buy a used one.

Most of the salavage yards don't have 3rd gen 4runners and if they do they are picked over already.

Check Car-Part.com they have a ton of color matched and some are $50. I got an 02 red grille from there for $75 shipped from one of the places. It isn't perfect, but it is good enough for half price.

Buy a brand new Coloring Matching Grill.

I painted my own...oh man, what a mistake.

Save your time, money & headache.

Got a used color grill coming off of an 02 4runner. Just need to repaint it to the appropirate color.

Toyota no longer sells the colored match grills onyl the chrome ones.
