well after searching for a while i found a few retailers who carry the mesh inserts for the 99-00 grilles. They vary in price from $100 - $150. I will probably pick one by this weekend.

They are not made anymore. Production was stopped 6 months ago. I used to sell them

any chance you have a billet for a 01, that still has the toyota emblem, or comes in 2 pieces so it fits in the stock grill around the other chrome accents and the emblem?

You can just put the stock Toyota emblem right onto the billet. You emblem tape, or fishing line from behind. A few choices of billets are on the Burtman site.
