Group Buy: AllPro UCA's

You'll hear people say that it takes the sloppiness or play out of the steering after a lift. I never quite felt that as I went straight to a Light Racing UCA when I did my lift, but my friend [MENTION=77842]EasylyConfused[/MENTION] mentioned when he went to his TC UCA's that he felt a remarkable difference.
I would have to say that anyone with a lift can benefit by going to a beefier purpose UCA with Uniball(do some research on maintenance, care, etc), but yes, they are significantly more expensive.
The also look killer in your front wheel well if that makes any difference to you.

Thanks for the info. I realized I didn't quite consider the bank account first, and I think I'll have to pass. Sorry! I know I'll be looking again in a year or two, but I have to pretend to be somewhat responsible about my spending right now.

It's hard to say since we just picked up the 5th person. I'm going to talk to AllPro tomorrow to see about keeping it open through the end of this week. I know there are a couple people that are on the fences about it.

Well, I'm wondering if what I'm saying is correct or not. I realize that these All-pro UCA's will allow for extra caster, but can the stock LCA cams be pushed all the way forward and still achieve proper camber? Again, half the reason for me getting aftermarket UCA's is to gain firewall clearance.

I understand how the eccentricity of the cam allows for camber adjustment and the tie rod ends allow for toe adjustment. Is the caster adjusted simply by inserting/moving spacers that sit on either end of the adjustment cam, between the cam and frame?

There's been quite a few cases where they break at the welds, which is cause for concern. That being said LR has since revised and changed their design to prevent failures. I do have the latest version so I'm not terribly concerned about it but it will slightly bother me until I can upgrade!
