My gear arrived while I was out of town camping. That was easily the fastest and most simple Group Buy I've ever participated in. Cheers!
 
Got all my pieces together. Gotta figure out a way to mount them on the Prinsu rack now.

They don't like moving stuff in volume?

Would you rather sell 5-10 units a week or 150+ units in 2 weeks?

There is cost efficiency in mass volume, I know that I wouldn't have bought the quantity I bought if it weren't for the GB. I also bet several of us would have never bought, except for this GB.

Besides look at all the free advertising they get every time one of us mounts one of these beauties on our rig. :banana:

They didn't lose any money on this deal. :wink2:

From my experience with group buys after a big one it took a while before another was started. I hope I'm wrong with Rotopax though because I want another 2x 4 gallons!!

The way those are mounted in the video is a joke, must be a Jeep owner. :)
It looks like you can just pull 2 pins on the square mount tube and walk off with the whole d@mn thing..........:frusty:



Whether you have any extension or not, the key would be to have a second mount point to keep them from spinning. Use one of the handle holes to put a pin in or a second set of extensions and it won't spin. Spin = Bad

I would more concerned about someone just unscrewing the caps and siphoning the gas out or at worse yet, just poking a hole in the can and letting it drain out.

I ended up getting some steel in a size that slips between the tanks and the mount where the mount get skinny. Was able to make 4 rods that are the height of two tanks and slide down through the stack, essentially pinning them together. While theft is a concern I was thinking more about while riding (these are mounted on my motorcycle in the stacked config) I wanted them to stay put. So far works great.
