Group Buy - Strona Bull Bar for Gen4 (T&H Low Bull Bar)

Will a bar made for the Lexus GX fit our 4Runners? If so, I found this one that doesn't look bad.

It should fit. Most bars that fit the GX will fit the 4R as well. I don't like that bar because it looks too pointed, more like a triangle than rectangular like the Strona. The Strona flows with the curves in the bumper and almost matches the grille lines.

About only two dealers carrying Strona, I think it's a marketing thing that T&H did for them. T&H probably has some exclusivity offering thus no one else markets the bar.

Neither of the distributors have contacted me yet. I will be contacting them myself or Strona again looking for some additional info if these distributors are not willing to help us...

I might give it a shot if this GB for the Strona doesn't pan out. And I very much agree on the look of that Escalade. It looks like it would follow the lines of my 06 grill nicely, though.

I think I've seen this bar on ebay for cheaper. It looks like the Safari bar somewhat, kinda wimpy looking.

I was given 2 different dist but neither has contacted me yet. So I e-mailed Strona again and asked them to give me dist that are actually looking to do business as I have not gotten any responses from the two they referred my e-mail to. So for now, we are still just waiting...I will keep all updated

I just got off the phone with Car-Mic Truck they told me once again that they're expecting shipments from Strona by July 1st.
hopefully it will come in this time. Once come in they will call me.
If not then I might have to go with T&H Eurotech too =(

Scott - they also mention that they recieved your email. I also told them to contact you as well when shipments come in if they can't reach me.

Scott, exactly! It's this style bull bar either by Strona or whomever, or NOTHING.

I believe Car-Mic will get it in due time and with enough interest. Just a huge test for our patience. X6Runner got his and then a month or so afterwards, 'intrigued' had it on eBay again.

I am happy to ride Strona's ass to get these bars! I want this bar just as much as everyone else. Allen from Strona e-mailed me again and persistently told me that Car-Mic WILL be able to help us and that they should have contacted me already. I responsed to him and let him know that I personally have not been contacted by them but I know others in this Forum have called them so maybe thats why they didn't respond. Either way, it looks like Strona is definately trying to help us in any way they can as they should since they are the MFGR. With some of us calling and me e-mailing them we are bound to get these bars. Hopefully soon...
