Hello! I just picked up this 1996 4Runner Limited V6 4WD to replace my 2007 4Runner SR5 V6 2WD. I'm wanting to get involved in the off-road/overlanding community so I sold the 2WD and got a fresh start. I have alot of plans for this, but thankfully there already been quite a been done already. I picked it up with 180K on the ODO and for $4.9k with a crap ton of extra parts. There is a small amount of surface rust on the skids, but nothing too big to worry about. So some info on it as of right now.
1996 Limited V6 4WD
- Camburg UCA
- Toytec 3in front struts
- Diff drop
- OME 891 rear springs
- Panhard mount drop
- Kenwood single din radio
- speakers replaced with JVC
- 285/75/16 Hankook Dynapro A/T
- Yakima Roof Rails
- Cabela Trailgear seat covers
- 99 center console swap
- LED bulb in headlights
- Front window tints
Of course there are a few things I need to work on, but he gave me the parts he had for them. They include:
-heater valve replacement
-rear shoes
-valve cover seals
-steering rack bushings.
I'm really excited about the future with this rig!
