You want 4300K bulb, no higher than 5000K. Go any higher and you loose lumens. Check out theretrofitsource.com for kits. They use quality stuff. You have projectors and many have used them here (plug and play) and have very good results. A retrofit is best, but it's going to cost you money and lots of time if you DIY.

i originally did 6000k low and fogs and was wayyyyyy to blue for my eyes. i hit a deer and was able to get a new set and went with 5000k low and fogs and to me its perfect. I got the kit from DDM tuning. inexpensive but holy **** do they take forever to get here. Ultimately my goal is to retrofit some lexus ls460 projectors but thats if i decide to keep the beast. if not i'll do it on a potential 5th gen.

4300K is best output and brightest white, 6000K has a blue tint to it

I went with 4300Ks from Xenon Depot in both Low and Fogs. I have their Xtreme kit in the Lows and the Volt kit in the Fogs. i can't compare to any other brands but the equipment in their kits is high quality, weather proof conectors, heavy duty wires and solid ballasts.
