H16 / 9005 question

Which H16 bulb works best in the 2015 4runner?

These are rated at 2500lm

H16 LED Fog light Kit | H16 LED Headlight Bulbs

while these are only 700lm

H11 Philips LED bulb | H16 Philips LED bulb | H8 Philips LED Fog bulb

For the 9005 LED kits, do the LED diodes sit parallel to the ground? This is important for proper beam output.

That is a lot of money to pay for bulbs that may not even work as well as standard halogens.

H16 and H11 share the same base, but an H16 is a lower wattage bulb; 9005 is completely different.

My personal favourite H16 bulb is the Philips H16 LED bulb:

White version:

H11 Philips LED bulb | H16 Philips LED bulb | H8 Philips LED Fog bulb

Yellow version:

H16 Philips 2700K LED bulb | Philips 12793UNIX2 |Yellow LED Fog bulb

It was a separate question.

When your LED 9005 bulb is inserted into the housing, do the diodes sit parallel to the ground?

You also say the PHillips H16 are your favorite but you did not answer my question in regards to lumens.

The one kit is rated at 2500 lumens while the Philips is 700. That is a drastic difference. Why are the Phillips better at such a low lumen?

I apologize; i misunderstood your question.

(1) The diodes will be in the 3 and 9 o'clock position.

(2) XenonDepot kits are brighter a they can technically be used for headlight applications. The Philips H16 LED bulbs are not designed for headlight application a they are not bright enough. Brighter is not necessarily better for fog lights, as you may end up disrupting on coming traffic.
