halos on a 3rd gen, help

Well first off, are u looking for projectors and halos or just the halos? U can purchase a it for just the halos if thats all ur looking for on ebay for fairly cheap. Just search CCFL angel eyes and plenty will pop up for you.
If ur looking at projectors and halos in one then u may want to get the projectors i have... they are about $100-115 shipped and have halos of almost any color and are a fair price and work great!

If you put just a Halo in the housing wouldn't it mess with light output? Since we don't have projectors the light is reflected off the entire housing. If you put a foreign object in there I would think it would mess with light output.

yeah man X2 on what everybody has said. if your wanting to put Halo's in there get the CCFLs like xskydivingdudex said, You are most likely going to have to take your headlights apart. and if you gotta do this you might as well do a projector retrofit. Skydiving has has the ones where they are intigraded into the projector so its a win win situatiun there!
As for just doing a halo it may affect the light output like clemson said, you need that whole reflector to get the right amount of light. On top of that how are you going to make it solid so its not flapping around etc.

Yea you can get whatever color halo you want. Some peple will tell you that they are illegal considering that they are red but you can check your local laws in texas. Also, if your installing halos in the first place, that's illegal, by opening up your headlights and altering them but again, it's not a big deal at all to me. The more flashy you get with it, ie red halos, the more attention your going to attract from the law.

I have G3 projectors... look them up on ebay and u can pay extra $15 for the red halos that u were talking about.
