Found this on expo portal. Great idea. Just add an awning to a roof rack for a nice camping set up.

You can probably make something more universal by driving over a steel plate as a "base" as well. Obviously not as cool as something integrated into the tank of a front bumper, but function could be the same.
Need more bad ideas? I'm here all day..
