I forgot I was coming up on 5000 posts & missed it! :second:

The board says I'm now an Elite member but I know many think of us original owners as elitists anyway. :gossip::biggrin1:

I'll just say that I love this board & all you 3rd gen maniacs. Here's to a great Spring, Summer & Fall of wrenching & wheelin', especially to all of us that don't have nice weather all year round.

Here's the first shots of my two 4Runners together. The 3RZ has been in the garage since Nov & he wasn't jealous at all. The lifted, manual, (soon to be S/C) beast is not intimidated at all by the hoity toity, auto, plastic cladding with leather. :biggrin1:

None of the oil drips in the driveway are from any of our vehicles. They belong to my neighbor Rebecca! :redface:

Of all the boards I'm a member of this is the easiest one to stay around and be able to get to the 5000 mark. Congrats.

As far as those oil stains go. If you want to remove them I'll give you a little advice. Don't use anything but heat. None of the liquid cleaners I've tried have ever worked. What does work though is burning them out. Get out the MAP gas and hit them at full heat. You'll be amazed as they literally just burn away. Wear glasses because concrete can spall under high heat but I've never had it happen to me.

Yea, this is a good board. I'd like to think I brought a little more humor here but not too much where every thread turn to shit.

Thanks, it's asphalt or blacktop, not concrete, it gets really soft with heat. I usually use sand or dirt for a few days & then pressure wash it away.

Gotcha. From the color in the photo it looked like concrete to me. Do not use the heat trick. lol

It's needs a coat of sealer, my home maintenance has suffered big time since I started this build! LOL
