My '03 is 4 years old today (7/17).

79,550 miles with just oil changes and basic maintenance. It still runs and drives like new.

Good stuff.

My 04 chev was in the shop about 4 times in the 3 years I owned it for other than basic maintenance. That's one of the reasons I bought a 4R to replace it.

Someone from my office just chatted with me about the t4r in the parking lot. He has an '01 with about 110K miles, and he's still on his original tires and brakes (he's probably 15K overdue on the tires). I'm still on my original brake pads at 79K. He's envious of the 4th gen, but I told him that he has a great truck and should hold on to it.

Call me when you hit 133K miles on your brake pads lol. My 96 Acura Integra GSR's pads went finally last summer at 133K, factory originals. And I drove that car like it was stolen, ALOT. Think it's saving grace was being a 5sp manual, which are much easier on brakes than automatics. Shame I had to trade that car in on the 4Runner, I hope this new rig gives me as many years of almost completely trouble free driving as the Acura did..... :biggrin2:
