Guys,
So I know all about the common warped rotors issues with the 3rd Gens, however, I feel as though this is not related to the rotors....let me explain:
A year ago, I did the Tundra front caliper/rotor/pads conversion...also replaced the rear drum calipers (Denso), pads (Toyota), springs/clips (Toyota), and drums (Centric brand drums - China). Basically I performed a complete brake job on the truck while upgrading it to tundra brakes as well as brake fluid flush. Brakes worked great for a while. Months later, I began to notice a front-end bounce when I would brake...usually from about 40+mph. Anything at about 30-35mph and lower, there was slight vibration and bounce....but when going over 40+mph and coming to a stop, the front bounces violently. It feels like your going over those rumble strips on the road.
I replaced the suspension (shocks, springs, isolators) a few days ago with a 3inch Tundra / OME lift as my front right shock was shot and leaking and had been meaning to lift the truck anyhow. Yet, still same thing.
Can anyone shed some light on what could be causing this?? It sucks braking like this....and I cannot figure it out for the life of me.
Thanks.
