I am glad you got it figured out there Fightman. Now find that elusive job, and make the rest of 2012 a banner year. I am amazed at the timeline of the Folgers coffee cans in that garage. I have some that are older than myself used for bolts and screws.

IMO, I'd leave the five original injectors in there and just hope the one bad Ebay injector does not cause any problems. If it does, you know what the problem is.

Just curious, what kind of oil are you running in the 4runner?

I usually buy whatever is on sale! HA HA HA! I usually wait for a sale to go on....and always buy 2 or 3 jugs, to do my next oil change with. I usually use Motomaster Formula 1 Semi-Synthetic (store brand at Canadian Tire), but have bought Valvoline Conventional, Penzoil Conventional, Quaker State Conventional oils.

I just keep up with the oil changes every 5000km's, and change my filter EVERY TIME. (BTW, I usually use the Motomaster oil filter as well...it's cheaper than most other filters).

I know people have said that the fuel pump may be weak. I'm starting to think that too.

Looks like it's fixed...but going to take it out today and test it out. The hard start would mainly occur if I had run it for a while, turned it off for an hour, and then went back and started it. First Start in the morning was decent, and if I turned it off, but then re-started it...it was fine.

Have you put new injectors in? How's your oil level?? Do you seem to have more oil in there than you should? Any white smoke coming out of your exhaust when It's running?

These were all factors I noticed about my rig. Actually, the extra oil, was noticed but I didn't think anything of it...until I was watching Truck Universe Today...and they mentionned that fuel injector leaks can end up in the oil, causing the level to go up....and therefore thinning out the oil.

I'm planning on doing a full oil change tomorrow....and then going to keep an eye on my oil level....to see if it goes up. If so, looks like I'm replacing that last Fuel injector with a New one from the Dealer.

Injectors are $119 each. That is a difficult "test".

I know what you mean man....they want $190 (approx.) for one here...I found 6 on e-Bay for the same price!

I'd stick with checking your fuel pump flow, and find out if the buzzing sound is normal....I've never noticed mine...so guessing it doesn't buzz.

I hope you figure out your starting issue man.....I know how frustrating it can be! (I love my truck, but every time it would do that, I'd look around to see if anyone was looking at me trying to start it!...kinda embarassing!)

No Fightman, just curious.

My uncle lived in Toronto for about seven years and was good friends with a Petro Canada distributor, so he got his oil for a cheap Canadian price. He still talks about that oil to this day.
