Harder run plans?

Cool, I will check back here to find out when you guys go. Looks like once I order the Savage sliders, skids, and rear bumper it will be a month before I can go get them installed there....so thats a while before the Yota will have protection to try any rocks, and I might wait to pull the trigger on wheel spacers and tires until I get the sliders and skids on anyhow.

The Jeep is ready to go, I just want to get some new headlights and a portable air compressor. Last few runs I went folks all air up and haul ass away and I am stuck going to the lone gas station at big bear taking forever to air up before I can drive home. Think I will order a Viar portable compressor off Amazon.

Even with the Jeep, I am still a newbie and rookie to all this rock stuff and would need experienced guys helping me in tough sections. I grew up mudding, not rock crawling!

Bump for a run.

Heres a little photo from depreciation nob on aftershock. First time i ran the trail. It wasnt too bad. Ran it again After KOH this year it was torn up... Still super fun. way better with double low

Ran JB on monday and it was pretty good. Had a guy with a taco on 33s rear locked run it with us for his first time. He had no issues except needing a tug up the v-notch. I ended up kind bored and running harder lines. Buddy snapped a CV trying something dumb in 3rd gear double low. Its only good up to the v notch (takes 10 mins from the start). then its 1.5hours of bumpy/rocky downhill.

Ran a good part of bull frog 2 nights ago and it was killer.

also ran Mottino wash 2 weekends ago and it was real fun. Probably too hot now, it was warm.

Hey if you want to run dishpan and holcomb and save JB I'm down. Dishpan is really short and kicks you out a few minutes from holcomb creek. I have not been out that way in awhile. I just want to get someone to actually go. I seriously have had this thread for a year and i dont think anyone has actually gone LOL.

J-money$$$--You hear about this event out at Cougar Buttes: Trail Run MK Annual Fun For All at Cougar Buttes ?

It's a Jeep event, but there will be a lot of the FJ guys we often do runs with, and at least one 4runner out there (mine). Plus, word is there's going to be a rock crawling competition with 3 different classes. Sounds right up your alley!
