Salvage Value - opinions?

Hey, I've got a 2000 4Runner, manual with around 265K miles. Lost control on the freeway a couple weeks ago (I think something in the suspension broke), hit the barrier and flipped onto my side (driver-side down). Insurance is including a salvage value of just under $900, wondering if it's worth keeping it and trying to sell as a project vehicle since manuals are harder to come by, or I should just take the salvage value. Anyone have thoughts? I'm guessing I would be lucky to get $1,000 for it, so I'm leaning toward taking the salvage offer from insurance (sad though).

That’s about what I thought, thanks for the pointers guys! Sad to lay one of these to rest but no time for a project of this magnitude right now.

I am so sorry for your loss. I came into my 4runner because my volkswagen is in hospice from a bad timing belt and engine damage. I am also trying to figure out what I should sell it for. I have to comment to be able to post i think :)
