Has anyone replaced their cloth seat covers with Katzkins?

We are looking at a 3rd gen with cloth interior, but really want leather. Has anyone here ever used Katzkins to replace their cloth? If so, post up some pics.

Not cloth replacement, but i just had my limited's leather replaced with CST (classic soft trim) and love it. Did brown seats w/tan stitching and turned out great. I'll try and get a pic up if you want. I was undecided at the time if i wanted the armrests done so they are not installed, they gave me the leather for it so I just need to have it installed.

I don't have pictures but my Tundra I just sold had leather seat covers that you would swear were factory leather seats! In fact I thought they were when I bought it, only found out they were seat covers when I took it to the dealer to get the Air bag computer replaced under the passenger seat. There are some very good seat covers out there!

If the cloth is in good shape then see of you can find someone "like myself" that would far prefer to have the cloth seats and see of they will switch seats.
If my 4runner came with leather seats I would actually pay extra plus switch in order to get the cloth.
Cloth is WAY better than leather in every way IMO.

It looks really nice. I'm sure the quality is better than OEM considering that the OEM uses vinyl on the side bolsters that tears apart like no other over time. Stupid...

Mine is identical to metric's, that's where i got the idea for the 2 tone. BTW..dont be fooled, no kits are full leather, they are leather faces. Most of the companies websites will show you the options and how much is leather/vinyl. When i was speaking w/metric they let me know no one offers full leather as the leather doesn't "stretch" like the vinyl and will never fit right. I love leather and will always have it for the ease of cleaning (i practically live outdoors biking/running/racing and have a kid). No worries w/stains, everything just wipes off. I've seen leather split in under 50K and also have seen seats that haven't split in over 200K, it's all about how it's taken care of.

That's good to know. I guess the tearing is the result of a very worn foam cushion combined with people "sliding" out of a tall truck. A more durable material could have been used though.

Cloth is definitely the way to go especially in the hot California desert you don't want hot leather seats plus leather just doesn't hold up aswell as the cloth.

Did you just bump this thread to tell us about why you love absorbent, at least 14 year old, cloth seats?
