Has anyone tried Hakka 9s?

I'm a diehard Nokian fan. I have the LT 2's and love them. My dad is planning on putting the 9's on his Limited this winter. My sister and mom have the 8's on their Highlander's and I have been very impressed with them. Can't go wrong with a good dedicated snow tire if you live somewhere that they will be needed, especially Nokian. I believe the 9's are pretty new so I haven't heard any first person reviews yet but I expect good things.
I'm a fan of Hakkapeliittas in general, all our Q7 loaners had non studded Hakkas for winter, they were very very good. I'm just hesitant to run studded tires on mine though. I was looking at the LT2 but they have a ridiculously high load rating and they only come in a huge 275/65 for a 20" wheel. (I run snows on my factory Limited 20s). The Blizzaks have been pretty good, a ton better than the K02's I run most of the year, but I feel like there still room for improvement.
I literally just ordered a set of 265/70-17 Hakka 9 SUVs for my 2010 Trail. This will be about the 8th set of Hakka's I've purchased for a variety of vehicles over the years. Nokian's tire engineers have forgotten more about winter tire tech than the the big boys like Michelin and Bridgestone have ever learned.
Follow up on this thread later in the season, let me know how you like them and how they compare to the other stuff you've tried.

I ordered a set of Hakka 9s that I am gonna put on some steel 17x7s I ordered for my winter tires. Im gonna powder coat the wheels first and will show pics and give a review later.

Looks like we are in a similar boat haha. My dad Runs the 8's and I just purchased 285/70/17 studded LT2's in September. Based on what his nokians can do, and the larger lugs of the LT2 it may be a winter wonderland after all. Last year I purchased Blizzak DM-V2's, and I was not sold on their performance on the 4runner. I ran a set previously on my Avalanche prior to trading it in, and they performed great on that application.

Looked extensive at the Hakka 9's but just couldn't justify the price. We get a fair bit of snow and lots of icy road conditions here in northern Alberta, this will be the 3rd winter on my lt285/70/17 studded duratracs, and while they don't have as much siping as the Hakkas, they are great. We travel regularly to the mountains and the coast in winter, and I have never had any issues
No experience with the 9's, but I had the 7's and they were brilliant - I can only imagine the 9's being better.
If you want to save some cash, it looks like discount tire is clearing out the 7's for a very reasonable price in stock size 17's (studded and not). If you got a studded set of those, you would be unstoppable.
