Must of had the work done at a stealership.... Must have replaced everything! Oh well, you didn't pay the bill! This mod will help if you're towing and probably result in more responsive braking in all cases.

As far as the springs are concerned, I will do this swap before boating next year. According to a fellow forum member, this spring replacement can be done without replacing the shocks if they're still functional (saves a few bucks all at once). I understand removing the top mounting is a PITA!! The majority of the hardcores on the forum are seriously into lifting, however, I 'm not really interested in lifting at this time, as I only go off road occasionally, and the trucks' primary uses are towing and getting me through the snow, in the Winter. The 4runner is the perfect vehicle in my town, as we have a ton of lakes, miles of logging roads, and if I want to leave the valley in the Winter, high mountain passes. A real outdoor paradise! Trucks are the most popular vehicle here, 4runners, SantaFe's and Pathfinders are probably the most popular SUVs in town.
