Haunted Sunroof

It was the first warm day since I got my 4Runner, so it was the first time I drove with the sunroof fully slid open. As I was driving, I kept on hearing noises like the sunroof was opening or closing when I was not pushing the button. I finally looked up at the right time, and saw that the black bar at the front of the sunroof was going higher and lower. This is what was causing this noise. Is this supposed to happen or is my sunroof broken again? Has anybody else experienced this? I am concerned because I have had a lot of problems with my sunroof.

Yep, the black bar is the deflector. It lowers at 55mph and raises at 45mph, or something like that. It cuts down on wind noise while driving at higher speeds.

Thanks everyone! It was really spooky while driving because I never really used it on long trips. I guess I am a little nervous with the sunroof beacuse I had annoying problems with it already.
